  1. @Beben

still you want to show your old comments choose the option "Only on new posts".

If you don't want to show old comments choose the option "On all blog posts".when you select "On all blog posts", your old comments will be hidden(not delete).but if you want to show them again you can uninstall IntenseDebate comments through your IntenseDebate control panel.

  2. Is their a way to make this work with your Google Account? Would be nice if my members didn't have to log in every time.

  6. I tried to install Intense Debate both ways and neither worked. I contacted Intense Debate and they could not get it installed on my template. Is there anything I can do to the template? I really liked having ID on my blog.

  7. Arggg I LOVE instense debate but I installed and it worked great EXCEPT when you load the blog it shows a set of old comments from yesterdays post on todays post---BUT if I click the blog post title it will load the article with the correct comment area...help? I uninstalled, re installed, did it as a widget, tried as a template and it simply didnt show up at all

  8. Hey, maybe you can help me. I installed IDC on my new site and it is acting really weird.

I follewed the template installation per this post and intense debates instructions. Everything works, but when you look at the comments the form goes to far to the left. I have tried moving stuff around and have had no success. I thought I could fix it by sticking the comments directly below my post but all that did is change where the Comments (#) appeared.

  10. I pasted the code everything in my blog www.exceptnothing.com correctly .
    But it gives a message
Your template could not be parsed as it is not well-formed. Please make sure all XML elements are closed properly.
XML error message: Element type "b:if" must be followed by either attribute specifications, ">" or "/>".
I use your Fives Template ... Please give me the answer for it .
I change to Intense Debate due to Comment Moderation isn't working . I have checked the Comment Moderation Always box But still it does not ask for moderation it publishes the comment ... Do you have any idea about the Comment Moderation or Intense Debate ?

  11. I installed this and it o ly shows when the comment link is clicked. If I change the options to either pop up or appear below posts nothing happens. I only get the one location. Any thoughts to fix this? I already uninstalled the widget and reinstalled using the template way and nothing. Also, if I uninstall, will I lost the comments I got using comment luv? I notice they aren't listed on my blogger dashboard like the others. Any way to save them there?

  12. As someone who used both, Intense Debate and Disqus I decided to go with Disqus. Part of the reason are my two complaints are really minor issues I'm sure they will fix in the future. One being lack of an ability to subscribe to a full rss comment feed, and secondly the problem of easier moderation control. The moderation control is easy for a blog like mine.

  13. intensedebate is the best just now removed disqus from one of the blogs to install the intensedebate

  14. I currently use Disqus on my multi-author blog but because of the automatically synced commenting feature that makes a reconsideration an inevitable possibility.

  15. Thanks for the easy to follow instructions. I have installed it in my blogger and it looks clean and professional.
